After asking a few questions about how we would clean their roof they decided that the softwash approach was best. I set up all my equipment and was ready to tackle the job, i always start by taking a few before photos then work on one side and take an after photo.

I must say the roof came up lovely and the owners had never seen the original tile colour. The roof looked fantastic after and was like new, they were very happy with the end result.

We had a call from a customer who was looking for roof cleaning in Reading, we went to visit the property later that day to provide him with a quote. He had a few issues with his soak away because of the moss in his gutters and down pipes had gone into the ground and blocked the drains so they were overflowing.

We booked him into our next available slot, we arrived at 8am on both days as planned and luckily we had the lovely hot weather on our side. Setting up the equipment only takes 15 minutes so we were ready to tackle the roof in no time.

I much prefer to soft wash over scraping as it gives it that new roof look but also do manual removal methods too.

GUTTER CLEANING IN OXFORD

We had a call from the owner of this home who was looking for gutter cleaning in Oxford. His gutters were full of moss and he said the birds kept flying into the gutter and throwing it onto his garden which was quite annoying.

He had just had new grass laid and didn’t want the moss ruining his new lawn. We gave him a quote to clear the gutters over the phone which he immediately agreed to.

Driveway cleaning in Oxford

DRIVEWAY CLEANING IN OXFORD

This week we were driveway cleaning in Oxford after a customer tried to do it themselves. They didn’t have the right pressure washing equipment to do the job properly so called us to give them a quote to have it cleaned.

To make a block paved driveway look like new again you really need to have a decent pressure washer. This is where we come in, with years of knowledge on how to clean exterior surfaces we can tackle anything.

First we had to sweep the driveway and apply a biocide treatment to kill unwanted organic growths including algae & lichen. Then we set up our pressure cleaner ready to tackle the job.

It had a lot of weeds in the paving that needed blasting out of the cracks so for this we needed the turbo lance to get right inbetween each block, this is an important process as you need to re-sand the driveway after using kiln dried sand so everything needs to be removed during the cleaning process.

It was a hot day so it dried really quickly giving it that new laid look! now all we had to do was sand it. Here’s the photos during the sanding process and after now its cleaned and re-sanded.

Gutter Cleaning in Abingdon

GUTTER CLEANING IN ABINGDON

We received a call from a regular customer of ours who was looking for gutter cleaning in Abingdon.

He has used us several times before so he was confident that we would do a great job. We arranged to go out and see the property that day after work and upon jumping up a ladder i could see that the gutters and roof valleys were full up with moss.

Gutter repairs in Oxford

GUTTER REPAIRS IN OXFORD

Today we were working on some gutter repairs in Oxford. The weather has been nice lately so they didn’t notice until it rained heavily, which was unfortunate.

They called us to come and repair their downpipe as it had come away from the guttering causing all the rain water from the roof to pool outside their front door and lovely front garden. It’s safe to say that once we fixed the problem they no longer needed an umbrella and wellies to leave the house.

All we had to do was put a ladder up and re-attach the downpipe and put screws in to hold it in place, the job took no more than 15 minutes and is now back in good working order, and as an added bonus for them we checked all the guttering over with no other problems to report leaving both me and them happy as Larry.
