Today we were roof cleaning in Oxford, they found out and took advantage of our 50% off roof cleaning offer. We always run spring/summer offers for all pressure washing work.

There are 2 different methods we use for roof cleaning, you can either have it manually removed then treated with biocide to slow regrowth or by softwashing (Jetwashing but on a very low setting). Most people prefer the softwashing option as it gives a much nicer finish to the roof tiles.

After asking a few questions about how we would clean their roof they decided that the softwash approach was best. I set up all my equipment and was ready to tackle the job, i always start by taking a few before photos then work on one side and take an after photo.

I must say the roof came up lovely and the owners had never seen the original tile colour. The roof looked fantastic after and was like new, they were very happy with the end result.

after cleaning the tiles we always clear the gutters, then we wash everything down including the walls, windows and guttering etc as it’s quite a messy job but we leave everything as tidy as we find it leaving no mess behind.

ROOF CLEANING IN NEWBURY

We recently got a call from a new customer who was looking for roof cleaning in Newbury.

It had a carpet of moss on it which the lady wanted removing as she had just purchased the property. Carpet definitely looks better inside the home rather than on the roof so she called us to come and give her a quote which she happily accepted.

We decided together that the softwashing approach was better than cleaning it manually as it looks like a new roof once its cleaned, with manual removal methods it takes a while longer to look like new because the biocide treatment has to get to work and clear the tiles of algea build up, this usually takes 2-3 weeks but can take longer.

I must admit it’s a messy job that most people wouldn’t do, but the end product is you have a new roof at a fraction of the price of a full replacement.

After 2 days hard graft and a lot of tears here is the result, i do love my job, we even booked the neighbours roof for the following week.
